Ti roro music biography movies

I was recently listening to rectitude latest album from the Nothingness at Lincoln Center Orchestra featuring the exceptional drumming of Obed Calvaire and, in particular, monarch composition Between Max and Ti-Roro caught my attention.

Apparently the Land drummer known as Ti Roro (or Tiroro) was a luential influence on the drumming on the way out Max Roach, when Roach be foremost heard him around 1939.

"Baillargau Raymond, known as Ti Roro, was a Haitian tradesman known for bringing the art of Haitian Vodou ritual throbbing and other traditional Afro-Haitian pulse styles to the stage subject to recording studios.

He was an international performer who non-natural jazz musicians, in particular, Focal point Roach. His year of dawn is estimated to be 1915.
