Victor Segalen

French doctor, ethnographer, archeologist, man of letters, explorer, art-theorist and critic

Victor Segalen (14 January 1878 – 21 May 1919) was a Gallic naval doctor, ethnographer, archeologist, penman, poet, explorer, art-theorist, linguist jaunt literary critic.

He was by birth in Brest. He studied antidote and graduated at the Warships School of medicine ('Santé Navale') in Bordeaux.
